Awesome, I went the steep curve for Wargame: Airland Battle 2-3 years ago. But I forgot almost all by now.
I used an excellent guide back then, and the author did a new version for Wargame: Red Dragon !

Hey I got Wargame: Red Dragon in the meantime. The guide I posted a link too is still a goldmine. The first 70 pages introduce you to the different tactical possibilities and the remaining gives an oversight of all the different types of units with their strength , weakness and counters.
All in all, I have to get back into the game mechanics, I tried some single player and I am too rusty for fluid and optimal gameplay. I also would have to make a deck on my own. But if anybody feels like playing on this beginner level, I am in !

Why don’t M113s have windows?
It uses Linux? It uses Core Version? 
To be honest that glass is probably more protection than the sides of an M113.
The M113 is not meant for protection. It’s meant to be a majestic beast deflecting RPG’s by pure awesomeness. You have to be one with the beast to fullfil this potential of course. Don’t question it. Live with it. Praise it.

Helicopters are abominations in terms of physics, you have a setRPM, a throttle (that twisty thing on the collective) and the collective itself… I guess you could count the cyclic in some instances and I guess you could technically get lift from your tail-rotor on some occasions. Don’t question it Anders, just roll with it and pretend you know what you’re talking about.
Some time ago, I was explaining all this to a friend (myself being interested in physics a lot) and he wouldn’t believe that the blades changed pitch twice every rotation (even though the mechanism for it is really clever).
