Music; A Certified CNTO Discussion

As some of you may know, I have ears and these ears like to listen to music.

I personally believe that music is a vital part of one’s everyday routine and I have already asked some of you in conversation about your music tastes but I’d like to get an idea of everyone’s taste in music.

Here are just a few of my favorite songs throughout my early 20’s late teens. I share some pretty strong memories with most of these songs so they do be real special to me.

Knew this’d be on your playlist, Garf.

100% genuine British summertime banger, what can I say!

Pretty much anything with Gzuz, Bonez MC and/or LX
Gzuz
Bonez MC
LX

We’ve also got some Danish and Dutch here
Lil Kleine & Ronnie Flex with the best Dutch song ever
Specktors x Nonsens with the best Danish party song

Danish rap:
Gilli - Knokler hårdt
Branco, Gilli - London Town
Suspekt - Gonzo
Branco - Copenhagen

Of course I can’t forget our precious patriotic, folk, communist, nationalist, etc. music
This channel is amazing for that kind of music, with this song being one of my favourites

Rock & Metal are also genres I listen to often, and I’m sure many of you already know some of these
Metallica - The Day That Never Comes
Disturbed - Indestructible
Rammstein - Reise Reise
Sabaton - Seven Pillars of Wisdom
Sabaton - Great War
Sabaton - To Hell and Back
Sabaton - Konungens Likfärd
Sabaton - Karolinens Bön
Tim Wynn - Rock and Awe
Five Finger Death Punch - Jekyll and Hyde
Powerwolf - Die, Die, Crucify
Amon Amarth - Raise Your Horns
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Korpiklaani - Vodka
The HU - Wolf Totem
Svartsot - Midsommer

I’ll go in random order. If they’re here it probably means I sing along when driving.

Metallica - The Unforgiven II
Tom Odell - Another Love
Post + Ozzy - Take What You Want
Avicii - Tough Love
The Killers - Here With Me
Secret Garden - My Land
Frank Sinatra - New York New York
Bob Dylan - If You See Her Say Hello
Boston - More Than a Feeling
Paul Kalkbrenner - Feed Your Head

I’ll mention these from Sabaton that aren’t already in 7699206 's list. Oh on the topic, Mathusse you made me go back to Die Die Crucify which is awesome!

Sabaton - Bismarck
Sabaton - The Red Baron

And this last one, obv an absolute masterpiece that 16274568 clearly overlooked. Tough pick against Starman though…

David Bowie - Space Oddity

I’ll do mine too then :), basically what I listen to when working or when I’m gaming on my own. I like live music, so most of what I listen to tends to be concerts. Of course Sabaton is dope, so ill leave thos eoff.

couple of game tracks I listen to, as well:

I’ll add mine. Sabaton is of course on there (All of them, obviously)

Some others:
When 7699206 mentions Korpiklaani, how can you not link this banger: A Man With A Plan
Collision course, the whole album
Clamavi De Profundis
Drink with the living dead - Ghoultown
Rage Against The Machine
A Spot of Country (Luke Combs)

I like high energy in all sorts of genres, mostly find my particular sort of vibe in metal and punk, but there’s some notable exceptions.

Bad Religion - Supersonic - Punkrock
Dragonforce - Soldiers of the Wasteland - Powermetal
Alestorm - Keelhauled - Powermetal
Death Grips - Takyon - ??
Eskimo Callboy - Hypa Hypa - Electrocore maybe?
Одолжи Юность - Amsterdam - Hardbass
DJ Blyatman & длб - Kamaz - Hardbass
Anarchadia - Narchaotic - Industrial
合法トリップ:ボイルハザード-神激 - Shingeki’s really a genre of their own
Mark My Way - Eyes See You Through - Hardcore
Moscow Death Brigade - Papers, Please - Punk Rap

That said, there’s some flemish and dutch classics which just put a smile to my face.

Bart Van Den Bossche - Het Leven Heeft Geen Enkele Zin - Life has no purpose
Guus Meeuwis - Kedeng Kedeng - A guy who’s going to see his girlfriend via train.
Ancora - Word Zeeman - Dutch navy propoganda I assume
Kraantje Pappie - Werkveld - Guy doesn’t have any good music other than this

I have over 100 GB of music I listen to (no dead archives), so it’s hard for me to pick favorites. I have my music sorted by two primary categories - by artist (one’s traditional definition of "music") and by title (movie, game, etc.). The following are picks from the "by artist" category (to honor the spirit of the thread).

I tried grouping them into some kind of categories, but I have no clue what those categories should be named. So just dig in an listen.
I also tried avoiding the most famous pop stuff, as you guys probably know it. … If something catches your fancy, look up the artist for more.

So when people ask me "what music do you listen to?" … I’m like "just some weird shit, man"

Oh right, forgot!

My favorite concert being this playlist of Rammstein in Paris!

In an effort to avoid dumping an entire list this is what ive been listening to recently

Reminds me a bit of the Gorrilaz.
