MiniOp: Operation Battered Knight

Hey guys, got a mission for you, Its a miniop. going to host it whatever weekend is free. Hopefully Saturday 18th

It will be a mission in which you attempt to secure and repair a tank with it’s tracks taken out, and then use infantry to protect it in the industrial port, using it to blow up a CSAT armoured depo to deny it to the enemy irregulars, before retreating home to the airfield.
Twist of this miniop is it’s on Tanoa [apex dependant] and it’s a 1 life only mission, so be very careful to PID your targets, I don’t want any friendly fire, I’ll provide IR grenades for you in a box to attach to yourself to prevent this. Be as careful as you would be in PVP, cover your sectors and most importantly take cover because I will be remote controlling NPCs. I will not be as forgiving as you are used to, I will miss once or twice at best, and then if you’re still in my sights you will go down. I will punish mistakes. Preserve your life and the lives of others because if you die you have to watch in viscom. I want everyone to take the utmost care and play seriously.

You mentioned viscom - surely if it’s a one life mission people that die can just go straight to spectator as would happen in pvp, makes for better spectating than viscom.

Would I do that by using the pvp module? I just want people to stay for the duration of the mission and learn how to git good from the survivors.

Just set the Multiplayer -> Respawn settings like a PvP mission would, take a look at some PvP missions. If you further want to prevent join-in-progress players from spawning in, use the "kill player on JIP" module.
