Joint Op: Operation Crossguard - Part 3

Would like to come in as autorifleman. Alternatively if we need some AT I can also take that up.

I’ve reserved the Rifleman LAT slots for @Arba and @Tropical.

The Rifle Squad 1-2 and Dagger 2 are now full. Any further joiners will be put into the Reserve slots unless they would like to join either PLT or Logi.

Overall feedback : The mission felt nice honestly I never ran into a major trouble as a medic… nothing much to really say.

Medical Feedback : Holy hell the bruises are back, I do remember @Koffer having like 20 bruises on his chest… Besides that, everything was nice. Only once I ran into issues with remaining amount of blood, but it was at the end OP.

Performance feedback : Once again saved by frame gen at the city and especially after the bridge crossing, without it… I feel like I would be combat ineffective due to FPS issue. (Thank god for the frame gen, I thought I’ll never say that…)

Enjoyed this mission very much and loved playing again after such a long time. The server performance and the teamwork felt really smooth.

In hindsight, the loadout might be a little more balanced. As an ammo bearer with one UGL and one LAT in my team, I should have dropped some of those thirty, fourty? 5.56 mags in favor of an AT missile or two, and might have reduced some of those 13 launchable grenades in favor of a pair of binoculars and GPS. I don’t think anybody was short on 5.56 during this mission. I’ll try to make it more balanced next time, depending on the roles of my teammates.

Wondering if the enemies had scopes and how this balances to the human players with scopes, since it seemed really easy to pick them off from a first story window overlooking the central square. It was almost like they were playing in two dimensions instead of three. The OPORD said they’d use modernized Russian gear.

Would have loved to finish the mission and end at the railway station but I also think it was the right call to stop where we did because of time.

Thanks to everyone who invested time in the preparation of this mission. Looking forward to the next one!
