@Stoneowl would like to join but is not comfortable playing LAT. If someone wants she would like to switch to AAR, Ammo bearer or Medic. But then someone else needs to agree.

I had a quick exchange with @Volken via Discord and he’ll swap his Ammo Bearer for LAT. @Stoneowl will be playing Ammo Bearer and I reserved FTL2 for @Churizo.

Damn we just need to find a driver for Arrow 1 and one LAT and that’s a full CNTO mechanized squad

@Mastick A true mechanised element would have been more of a thing if we had only got 4-5 Delta members. Then they would likely have been re-rolled into a support team, such as MAT, and permanently assigned to Arrow 1 for transport.

If all the squads fill up (maybe through some impromptu re-shuffling), then I doubt that Arrow 1 will be permanently assigned to just one element. PLT will most likely use you as a heavy fire support asset wherever needed.

The same deal applies to Sunbird 1 and Sunbird 2; we’ll be running transports, scouting and mini-gun support for all ground forces, not just Delta. :wink:

Luckily, we still have a few people who signed up on Sesh but haven’t reserved a role yet. So we might end up filling all open positions after all. :fire:

@Seb Delta Squad is full by now. Arrow 1 still needs a driver and I bet the gunner and driver could regularly swap roles to keep things entertaining for both roles.

Alternatively, you could join PLT as a Medic.

I had a blast as Delta medic. Maybe not shooting much, but being able to save quite a few people across multiple elements was enough to have fun for me.
@Sindh However I have to point few things that were kind of annoying/to improve.

  1. If the respawn is set to be in spectator mode, people stay on the ground visible to be “alive”, the only way to check if they’re dead is to either check responsiveness and see if it says “motionless, cold” or to pump blood (leading to unnecessary use of the 500/1000ml bags) and see if there’s any flow. If there’s none well… dead.
  2. Sutures. Granted you cannot pack more than a 100 into your medkit bag. But medical crate had only 60 of them. Which might be good enough for 2 medics in 2 elements, with each of us taking 30. But if every medic has to resupply them it’s kind of annoying to know that eventually you won’t be able to stitch people without them, leading possibly to some arguments. So please consider that for the next OP, either have both Sunbirds to drop 2 medical crates, or increase the number of sutures accordingly.

Hello everyone!
Hope this was a good time and worth trying again.
Overall I had a pretty good time although quite stressful but I made it stressful for myself by making an amphibious landing with untested equipment.
I’ll go for more stability and easier logistic next time!
The TeamSpeak issue should now be solved by the recent acquisition of a license.

A few my Zeus changes for next time:

  • Streamline the logistic process. Create bigger crates for larger resupply both medical and AT.

  • Change the platoon infrastructure to allow for smaller support teams (MAT, MMG, Logi/Mortar). It will allow more flexibility in tasking and avoid bloating a squad like we had with Delta.

  • Try to push earlier to get Platoon filled up with both PL and PSGT. The radio and comms environment requires it to deconflict radios.

  • Rework of the arsenal. Include specialist equipment to avoid losing equipment when loading loadouts. Introduce variety within specialist equipment. ACOG (at the 2nd USC’s request). Colored smoke for UGL.

  • Toggle ACE pointing on.
