An outbreak of the black plague has broken out in Poland and swept across Europe. Casualty rate is extremely high, some regions have been reduced to a quarter of their original populations due to deaths and evacuations. IDAP has set up camps all over Europe, including here, in Virolahti.

OPORD

IDAP has reported that remaining civilians in the region have taken up arms and heve begun looting and robbing to survive. IDAP is stretched very thin and is unable to secure it’s own camps and has asked NATO for help.

There was a fairly severe imbalance of which element got some “action” this op. Alpha had very little to do the first two hours compared to Bravo, which, combined with several avoidable vehicle crashes tonight (general rule in Arma: don’t drive at max. speed), led to a certain loss of focus at times. We switched back “on” whenever we encountered contacts, but while waiting around for prolonged periods, we were definitely bantering quite a bit. Though I disagree with the view that the memeing was “non-stop” tonight.

I agree with @Koffer 's debrief comment that if a Recce element is a click ahead of the main group and able to eliminate most contacts it can get quite boring for the rest of us to always show up “late” to the party.

A few small things since my debrief got cut off:

Zeus doesn’t see everything all of the time, please don’t call in actual vehicle crashes as ArmA-events, I understand that having to medic everyone and waiting for a new car would have been boring but lack of consequences breeds lack of care.

No grenades in towns with civilians please

More than a few surrendered enemies and civilians were killed, this isn’t who we are, so please pay more attention to that. I will grant that when enemies surrender, they first stand up slowly, then slowly put their gun on their back, so those were understandable shots most of the time. The guy with the human shield, was exceptionally egregious.
