OPORD

I Situation:

The regular army of Malden has started occupying the main cities and will soon proceed to take control of the airport and political institutions. The police forces have preventively surrounded the civilian terminal and ATC tower of the airport in order to prevent the military from occupying them and will soon do the same with one of Malden’s biggest radio stations.

It is crucial that the US Army is never the first to engage Malden soldiers. Any unnecessary demonstration of force will be considered as heavy menace to the national sovereignty.
This is not a war situation, the Country is at peace and the equilibrium must be preserved at all costs.

Area of Operations:

Important note: usage of LCAC is required to ship vehicles to the main island. No other means of vehicle insertion are provided thus it’s up to the Platoon ensuring a proper usage of LCAC (guide here).

Do we start on a carrier then?
How about setting an LZ North of the Airport bringing 5 unharmed & 3 armed Humvees with the LCACs, then sending 2 of each Humvee types to set-up a checkpoint at the crossroads South-East of the Military depot to prevent Malden forces from either reinforcing the Airport or taking over the Radio tower & have the bulk of our forces securing the civilian terminal & control tower & preventing access to the airstrip to any military aircraft.

Your operating base is located on a separate island to the north west of the north shore

After landing vehicles at LZ Horus, move to the Airport & establish Checkpoint Set (recon on site to determine the best setup) with 1 armed Humvee & 2 unharmed ones. Move 2 armed Humvees & 2 unarmed to establish Checkpoint Anubis.
RoE is weapons tight.

If things go south, forces at Anubis fall back to ORP Osiris & forces at Set fall back to ORP Serqet.
