If there are enough SDV’s we should use them otherwise boats would make sense.
I thought the hostages were in an underground bunker.

Unclear… but I feel like a large explosion would doom them anyway to be shot by their captors. Specifically if they believe the launchers are destroyed, they have no reason to keep their bargaining chip.
I’d go with deploying UAV team first (2 or 3 guys max) while the rest is way out of enemy reach. UAV scouts find a good LZ and a good route to target. Then when you deploy on LZ conduct detailed planning with good intel. What I see here is lot of assumptions and you know what they say about assumptions …
I have no knowledge about the tunnel system. All based on map and intel.
Preparation
DMT in sub from here on REC
Inf in boats from here on INF
Drone or F-18 from here on AIR (Depends on their abilities)
REC and AIR move out ASAP
In case of premature alarm AIR commences the assault on the castle.
In case of inability to detect the northern patrol for elimination INF inserts from REC insertion point.
Phase I
AIR moves on standby spiraling around the island spotting enemies and marking
REC Movement to insertion point
REC Secure immediate area
INF Prep to move out in boats
Phase II
REC Movement to OP Zulu
REC Observation (Priority on marking missiles in base and northern enemy patrol)
INF Movement to 500m from coastline
Phase III
REC Elimination of northern enemy patrol
REC Return to OP Zulu to continue the observation and marking targets
INF Insertion
Phase IV
REC spotting and guiding infantry past enemy patrols
INF stealth movement using the designated route if possible move to WP4 silently if not to WP3
Phase V
REC and INF commence the assault (Going loud)
AIR eliminates any flanking units. (REC marks and designates)
REC and INF clear the castle.
Phase VI
Hostage exfil via helo (AIR or respawn pilots as a helo)
INF evac the castle and destroys the missiles.
INF, REC exfil
Plan:
These are spec ops, they likely have rotas and check in on the radio every 5 minutes or so, I feel like attempts to eliminate patrols could give us away. All it takes is for one patrol to get off a shot and the whole island will hear it.
Better to avoid sending men at all first off… I can get the darter in the air at 1.5k up or so just below the cloud layer and nobody should spot it. Then I can spot the patrols and you’ll be able to keep at least two hills between you and them at all times.
You can program the darter to stay in loiter mode, should be relatively easy.
Only for 500m/2000m altitudes, if you want a custom one, you need to disable autonomous mode and fly it yourself. Once you leave the "driver" "seat", it will still hover just fine, but not move.
Just flying it there and setting it to autohover will do the trick
