OPORD
I Situation:
With the recent Coalition bombings, Islamic State found itself in a difficult situation. Faced with serious lack of resources it turned to new ways of financing itself, like kidnappings, extortion, and selling oil on the black market.
Local military proved unable to halt the advance of IS forces, losing oil fields near the town of Zavarak in the process. CNTO command decided to deploy forces from its nearby base to quickly recapture the oil fields before enemy forces have enough time to efficiently fortify the area.
There is a heavy civilian presence in the area, civilian casulties are required to be minimal. Civilian populace is friendly to our forces and any acts of aggresion on our part serve only to antagonize them.<<
