The world has changed. In 2021, China’s economy crashed and the Western markets followed. Millions found themselves without the basics they had lived with for years. Austerity ran rampant. In 2023, Oil wells in the Middle East and the US ran dry. Within six months, every nation in the world was in a desperate struggle to hold onto anything they could get their hands on. High tensions and economic instability forced the UK back into the fold of the EU, which was now vying to become a federal superpower on par with Russia and the US. In 2026, China was forced to launch an unprecedented and desperate invasion on Russian soil, in an attempt to grab what little reserves remained to quell the uprisings happening internally. The Russians, surprised and without much mechanized help, were pushed back quickly and effectively by the Chinese. Within 4 months, Russian Leaders were in conference rooms in Brussels, brokering an alliance that would help their country survive. The EU agreed knowing that Russia could be used as a barrier country for their own defense, at the cost of souring relations with the US. It’s been three years since that deal was made and the US and the re-branded European Federation have been fighting proxy wars across the globe to secure any and all remaining resources. Two months ago, a survey team on the Isle of Panthera discovered a huge well of oil far below the surface and every major power has their eyes firmly set upon it.

Area of Operations:

Basically I can see three sections to this operation:
1) Attack on Brown:

  • Establish a base of fire on BOF A1 and/or A2
  • Perform a single of deep envelopment depending on situation on the ground

2) Attack on Silver:

  • Establish Bof B1 and/or B2
  • Attack the town using sectors to manage splitting of building to units

3) Attack on Gold:

  • Establish Bof C1 and/or C2
  • Capture Sector 1 and 2
  • Capture SP Tango
  • Capture the rest of the town

4) General use of support:

  • Use support where possible, preferably fire from our MBT (MBT is to stay far behind the infantry AT ALL TIMES)
  • Jet should operate in close coordination with infantry for spotting targets and provide CAS if necessary but would preferably operate on it’s own accord to disable armour and artillery

5) Required assets

  • PLT (1-2 members)
  • Paladin Jet (1 member)
  • Reaper Heli (1 member)
  • Infantry squads (preferably 2 full squads)
(- Dagger (Use MBT first then use Mora) (3 members))

Minimum amount of players required: 23

Great time to put the things we learned in PLT attack into practice guys!

To Commander Churizo (hehe),

your plan is ok but tentative in this stage because it lacks necessary recon information. Please conduct reconnaissance of the objective from multiple observation or vantage points prior to attack on any out of 3 objectives. Do not risk men and equipment without collecting intelligence on the enemy. Then adapt the tentative plan with final order depending on the disposition and strength of enemy forces. Be careful to task organize and place the security element to:

a. guard your flanks and provide early warning of new enemy force. EN will not allow to be fixed in place and will definitely seek a way to retake the initiative.
b. isolate the enemy OBJ thus preventing any EN reinforcements coming in or withdrawing. You don’t want to commence attack and get surprised with additional EN reinforcements, fighting 70 soldiers instead of 20.

Security element is usually a 1/3 of your force, so it can be from 1 fireteam split into buddy teams or even stronger depending on the patrol size. Let this image be your guide:

ORP stands for Objective Rally Point. The ORP typically lies 200 to 400m from the objective, or at a minimum, one major terrain feature away. Actions at the ORP include:

  • Conduct surveillance of the objective and pinpoint location.
  • Conduct a leaders recon of the objective.
  • Issue a FRAGO, if needed. FRAGO is fragmented order (change of original WARNO/OPORD).
  • Make final preparations before continuing operations, for example, prepare demolitions, line up rucksacks for quick recovery; prepare EPW bindings, first aid kits, and litters; and inspect weapons.
  • Account for soldiers and equipment after completing actions at the objective.
  • Reestablish the chain of command after actions at the objective are complete.
  • Disseminate information from reconnaissance, if no contact was made.

Remember, time is an asset that needs to be well spent, but so are your men.

Kind regards,
HQ

I’d recommend against using "A1/A2/B1/B2/C1/C2" nomenclature to designate Base of Fires as that will certainly collide with "A2 OW"-squadlead-placed markers and such.

Nomenclature in the plan is a placeholder, it only serves to make the plan more clear
