Hey Dusty what is the moon state? and is the weather likely to stay clear in the next 12 hours?
Also, enemy forces what are their compositions, i.e. their equipment states, size of elements, manpower, assets etc.
"The location of the deal is heavily defended" are there any more details? a recon photo or sat imagery would be good.

1. Situation:
General Situation : - A Takistani major is meeting with an out of country warlord to negotiate an arms deal in exchange for the destabilisation of the government in Anizay. This deal is just to set the groundwork and deliver the first of many shipments. We can’t allow this deal to go through as we have strategic interests in Anizay and several deals set up with their government. Your task is to eliminate both the Warlord and the Major before they can make the deal. We believe the Majors convoy will be departing his HQ at 00:45 hours and the Warlords convoy at 01:30 hours. The location of the deal is heavily defended and would be very difficult to assault. Not to mention we’re sure both sides have QRFs ready just in case either side turns sour during the deal. If you get the chance to, also try to destroy the vehicles containing the weapons shipment. They should be marked with warning signs due to the cargo being munitions.
General Terrain & Weather :
- Mountainous desert region.
- Currently clear night with some clouds.
- Moon state: Waning (good visibilty at night when clear)
Situation Enemy Forces : -

The Majors forces are late era soviet equipment and well equiped. Size approximately 2 x platoon strength.

The Warlords forces are equipped with cold war era soviet equipment. They have potential for soviet era APC’s. Size approximately 2 x platoon strength.
Situation Friendly Forces : -
Own Forces Supports:
- 2nd Platoon, 75th Ranger Regiment.
- Toyota Hilux x 8.
- Cruise missile strike x 1 on standby.
Civilian Population:
- Scattered settlements with minor presence.
- No unarmed civilians may be harmed in any way.
- Unless they are armed, civilians are not to be detained.
2. Mission:
2nd Plt is to ELIMINATE the Major and the Warlord. BPT DESTROY the vehicle containing the arms shipment.
3. Execution.
The Operation will be done in 3 Phases as follows (Starts 00:01):
Phase 1- Insertion
Cutoff South
- Alpha will take 3 x Slam mines and 2 x Hilux Vehicles.
- Alpha will move to dismount 1 then to Cutoff South.
- Alpha is not to be seen in the cutoff area by the Majors convoy approaching the meeting from the South at all costs.
Cutoff North
- Bravo will take 3 x Slam mines and 2 x Hilux Vehicles.
- Bravo will move to dismount 3 then to Cutoff North.
- Bravo is not to be seen in the cutoff area by the Warlords convoy approaching the meeting from the North at all costs.
OW
- Plt is to take 1 x Hilux Vehicles.
- Plt will move to dismount 2 then move to OW.
Phase 2 - Ambush set up/activation
Cutoff South
- Once the Majors convoy has passed you are to:
- Set up 3 x slam mines on the road below your cutoff position.
- Get all squad members in a position to launch an ambush on any survivors returning from the meeting.
Cutoff North
- Once the Warlords convoy has passed you are to:
- Set up 3 x slam mines on the road below your cutoff position.
- Get all squad members in a position to launch an ambush on any survivors returning from the meeting.
OW
- Plt is to confirm the attendance of both the Major and Warlord.
- Plt is to call in the missile strike on the meeting.
Phase 3 - Extraction
Cutoff South
- Move back to vehicles and move to the Extraction.
Cutoff North
- Move back to vehicles and move to the Extraction.
OW
- Move back to vehicles and move to the Extraction.
Key Timings.
- 00:01: Mission to start.
- 00:30: Insertion phase complete
- 00:45: Majors Convoy sets off.
- 01:30: Warlords Convoy sets off.
- 06:18: Sunrise.
Waiting out on the information on dusty to fill out the rest of the OPORD.
It is 3 days after a full moon. (Not including the full moon itself). There’s a 35% chance of clouds but 0% chance of precipitation.
The Warlords forces are devently equipped and organised with cold war equipment. The Majors forces are a well organised army of regulars, they have late 90s to early 2000s russian equipment. Enemy forces are aproximiately platoon sized at each HQ, and 2 platoons at the meeting point. We are unsure on the Warlords assets but the takistanis have a range of equipment from VODNIKS, to GAZ TIGRS, and BMPs.

Update on Bastam meeting point after recon:
The meeting place has several fortified building located in the town of Bastam. These are fortified with sandbags on balconies and roofs, the entire perimeter wall of the Mosque centre of Bastam is sandbagged as well as the inside building.
There are lots of truck scattered around the town also. All the Fortified buildings marked on the map were manned. Unfortified buildings looked empty.
