Le Port is the enemy HQ, so it’s got a more russians per square metre than downtown Moscow.
At Le passenge the last Germans tanks are keeping most of the Russian armour on the island occupied.
The Marid, and by extension DGR, is intended mostly to carry the pilots around, but do as you will. It has a .50 and a 40mm GMG.
Mission start is at Malden International.
NVGs as it might get dark-ish, Suppressors to minimise signature.
How do reinsertions work? Where are they sent from?
General plan:
Avoid main roads and towns as much as possible, use secondary roads and drive offroad when needed
Get to a vantage point around every downed pilot site, acquire visual on the crash site and go for the rescue minimising contact as much as possible
If DMT is present or any other units feel like doing it, have a scout vehicle ahead of the main convoy
Convoy must be quick in performing dismount and remount procedures - RoE is WEAPONS TIGHT, we don’t have the numbers and we want to minimise engagements so expect a call for breaking contact and going away
Role selection (in order of priority):
Alpha
DGR
PLT
MMG, if needed can be attached to Alpha to make a weapons squad
DMT
MAT
Rest of the platoon
Vehicles (the OPORD doesn’t state how many are available so I’m guessing a lot):
OSNOKELIS has been left out as no smart way to get there came to my mind and it’s a long way already. Too bad for the pilot, depending on how busy and how late it is we might get the chance to go and rescue.
