Russian army took over this region half a year ago, and has been enforcing the controll over the area with patroll bases and checkpoints cutting off rebellious activity from the populated areas.
Your units current rotation at a patroll base is ending but HQ has one important task for you before you return to FOB Elektro for R&R.


I Situation

It’s been a while since we liberated this region, and while rebel resistance activity has stopped mostly, the local population still seems unhappy with our presence.
Command believes the civilian view of us will improve if we show an interest their culture, to this end we have been tasked with recovering a cultural artifact of theirs, so that it can be preserved in a place of honor at one of our museums.

Enemy Forces

  • resistance fighters
  • very few in numbers, minimal assets (AK’s and Hilux’s)
  • they move in small groups and have been setting up petty ambushes and such
  • no known hideouts, as they have been very hard to track so far


  • Civilians are present but the region is very sparsely populated.
  • Most of the population has accepted our presence, but don’t seem too excited about it.

Recover artifact from ruined temple and return it to FOB Elektro

III Execution

Commander’s Intent

  • Get to temple south-east via HUBRIS
  • Locate artifact and place it in special climate controlled bag
  • call HUBRIS for extract to FOB Elektro
  • hand over the artifact and enjoy your free time

Movement Plan

  • Planning free within intended execution
  • in case of rebel encounter, hold-out until you can resume plan

Fire Support

  • the operation is at a peace keeping phase, so unless a war breaks out fire support stays in storage.
  • in sudden extreme circumstances a Hind will be available with delay.

IV Administration / Logistics

  • uphold respectfull behavior when dealing with civilians


  • common resupply available at your nearest outpost
  • HUBRIS is at your service for any logistics you might need


  • Reinsertions will be on the hour every hour and be adhered to strictly, no deviation is allowed.

  • Reinsertions are the same for all, including vehicles teams.

  • Platoon Commander has a one time reinsertion wild card at his disposal, call this in through HQ.

  • At predesignated times, an air transport will be sent out to pick up reinforcements from the base.

  • Upon insertion to the AO, reinforcements should stick together until regrouping with the main force in the AO.
