The Livonian Armed Forces have been deployed to the Chernarus Region for various combat missions. The fighting has died down a bit to mainly various smaller scale skirmishes, where both sides poke the fuzzy front line in attempts to gain more ground and put more pressure on the enemy.
OPORD
I Situation
Our forces have been controlling the northwestern region for a while now, though fighting has not been far from the bases, with it mainly occurring near the various main roads.
While neither side has managed to gain the upper hand in the region, command believes we have the momentum and is planning to use it to our advantage by putting more pressure on the enemy.
Friendly Forces
- Livonian Defence Force, Ranger Regiment
- Platoon, Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Engineer, MAT, HAT, MMG, DMT, DGR
- PLT Rifleman has UAV.
- HAT can be swapped out to equip AA MANPADS.
Assets
- 1x T-810 (armed) - 15 seats: 1x driver, 1x gunner, 13x passenger - no callsign
- 1x Rosomak IFV - 11 seats: 1x driver, 1x gunner, 1x commander, 8x passenger - callsign Dagger
- 1x Leopard 2 - 3 seats: 1x driver, 1x gunner, 1x commander - callsign Dagger
- 4x HMMWV - 4 seats: 1x driver, 3x passenger -no callsign
Enemy Forces
- Russian Armed Forces and allied militias.
- Expect various levels of armour and potential air threats (helicopters or drones). They also like to set up mortar positions near the front lines.
Civilians
- No civilians expected in the combat area
II Mission
Command has called for a new offensive in the Northern Region after hearing reports of ambushes on the main roads and of small troop movements nearby.
They want to ensure the main road is cleared of any threats to allow convoys to travel safely.
Key threat areas have been found and marked.
III Execution
Commander’s Intent
- Platoon is to set out at their own discretion, either by direct routes down the main road or using the side roads.
- The key threat areas need to be investigated and cleared. Look for evidence in the general area for hostile activity.
- Once the northern region is safe for convoy movement, platoon is to RTB.
Movement Plan
- Some areas of heavy past fighting may have UXO or minefields. Known areas are marked on the map.
- Use of vehicles is down for PLT to dictate.
Fire Support
- Friendly base has Anti-Artillery radars to aid detect hostile artillery.
- Friendly forces holding secure areas.
Optional Tasks
- Destroy or damage any unrecoverable enemy equipment.
- Clear high value locations of any enemy activity.
IV Administration / Logistics
- Enemy Prisoners of War (EPWs) are to be secured and prep for recovery.
Resupplying
- Ammo resupply at base.
Reinforcements
- Reinsertions will be on the hour every hour and be adhered to strictly, no deviation is allowed.
- Reinsertions are the same for all, including vehicles teams.
- Platoon Commander has a two time reinsertion wild card at their disposal, call this in through HQ.
- At predesignated times, reinforcements will be sent out of the base in the smallest transport vehicle which can hold reinforcements.
- Upon insertion to the AO, reinforcements should stick together until regrouping with the main force in the AO.
