The Cold War has gone hot. Soviet Forces have invaded West Germany and made early advances but we’re now starting to turn the tide. An ambitious plan to retake the city of Rosche using large airborne assaults backed up with Mechanized and Armored pushes has been approved
OPORD
I Situation:
1st Infantry Division has been tasked with pushing along the left flank of the main assault along with 1st Armored. This will be preceded by a drop by the 101st Airborne to soften up defenses before the assault

II Mission:
101st Airborne has been tasked with conducting a paradrop to the north of the town of Oetzen to soften up defenses for an assault by the 1st Infantry Division. Once the town has been seized by both units then you are to advance onto the town of Dormte
III Execution:

[*] As members of 101st Airborne are eliminated they will be replaced by members of the 1st Infantry Division pushing up from the Mechanized base at the town of Masendorf

[*] PLT are to insert initially via C130 Paradrop north of the town of Oetzen and assault the town
[*] Reinserts will become part of the 1st Infantry Division and assault from the town of Masendorf with Mechanized assets provided

IV Administration / Logistics:
Resupplying

[*] Parachutes and Flares are available at spawn (Airfield to South West of area)
[*] General Resupply is available at Mechanized Base at Masendorf

Reinforcements:

[*] Reinsertions will be on the hour every hour and be adhered to strictly, no deviation is allowed.
[*] Reinsertions are the same for all, including vehicles teams.
[*] Platoon Commander has a one time reinsertion wild card at his disposal, call this in through HQ.
[*] At predesignated times, reinforcements will be sent out of the base in the smallest transport vehicle which can hold reinforcements.
[*] At predesignated times, an air transport will be sent out to pick up reinforcements from the base.
[*] At predesignated times, an armed escort vehicle will be sent out to escort reinforcements from the base.

Notes
Mission will start dark so flares (provided at spawn) are a must, unfortunately flashlights don’t fit on these M16’s so flares will be your only light. Time acceleration on x2 to will be starting to get light when you drop and full morning when 1st reinsert happens
Since we’re a mechanised force vehicles are plentiful, MAT will be a bonus but once your 1st reinsert you’ll have access to TOW jeeps & humvee’s for anti armour/Machine Guns for anti infantry
Be aware that ARs and AARs are quite heavy at 34kg and so wont be able to move as fast as the rest of the squad. On the upside M60’s are able to mow down plenty of Russians
