OPORD
I Situation
The situation has escalated within Fallujah, top brass has ordered the evacuation of the Embassy and all staff, our platoon has been tasked with getting in quickly and airlifting the staff out ASAP.
Friendly Forces
- We have a platoon sized element which has been supporting a UN medical mission with Fallujah. In turn we have US air and other combat support elements at Camp PIKACHU.
- Platoon consists of Alpha, Bravo, MMG, Nightbird 1 and Nightbird 2.
- Platoon is supported by a Nightbird wing with access to AH-6M little birds and UH-60M
Assets
- 2x AH-6M Little Birds - M151 Hydra (Rockets) and M134 (Mini Gun)
- 2x UH-60M - 16 seats: 2x pilot, 2x gunner, 12x passengers
- Several ground vehicles at Camp PIKACHU.
Enemy Forces
- Enemy forces are a paramilitary with access to soviet era weapon systems, very limited access to light armour.
Civilians
- Civilians are present and should not be harmed.
- Civilians are generally neutral to our activity within Fallujah, however, recent killings of civilians by CNTO forces may have swayed public opinion.
II Mission
1st Platoon is to enter Fallujah via air, oversee the extraction of embassy staff and return back to Camp PIKACHU.
III Execution
Commander’s Intent
- Insert via air and secure the embassy compounds perimeter.
- Oversee the safe extraction of embassy staff.
- Extract back to Camp PIKACHU.
IV Administration / Logistics
Resupplying
- Resupply available via callsign “BELLICOSE”.
- Resupply also available at Camp PIKACHU.
Reinforcements
- Reinsertions will be on the hour every hour and be adhered to strictly, no deviation is allowed.
- Reinsertions are the same for all, including vehicles teams.
- Platoon Commander has a one time reinsertion wild card at his disposal, call this in through HQ.
- At predesignated times, an armed escort vehicle will be sent out to escort reinforcements from the base.
- Upon insertion to the AO, reinforcements should stick together until regrouping with the main force in the AO.
