In the war-torn region of Virolahti we’ve been pushed out by the hostile forces. Recently a top secret operation went awry and a helicopter carrying a friendly special forces team was lost contact with. We fear they might have what might have happened to them. It is vital that they are secured and rescued at all costs.
They were working with local assets. We are missing a 6 person team, the local assets are not a priority.
As the hostiles have not had a chance to get properly set up, we have a chance to get close to their shores on our destroyer USS Valor.
OPORD
I Situation:
We have lost contact with a team which was attempting to extract using hostile helicopters to sneak past them undetected. As the intel this team has is vital to us, we are to rescue them at all costs.
We know their last known area, where we believe they crashed. Using satellite surveillance we have gathered some basic intelligence regarding hostile outposts and movements. We suspect our people are being held in a nearby base.
Friendly Forces:
- USMC
- PLT, A, B, C, MMG, MAT, DMT, HAT, NB
- Drone on Platoon Rifleman
Assets:
- 4 x Armed Speedboats
- 1 x Armed Helicopter
- Silencers + NVG
Enemy Forces:
- Eastern Alliance forces. Mostly Russian Armed Forces.
Civilians:
- All civilians have been evacuated.
II Mission:
We are to rescue our people from the hands of the enemy. We know where their last contact position was and where some enemy bases and outposts are. We suspect they might have been captured and moved to FOB “Kamen”
III Execution:
Commander’s intent
- Survey the last known contact area for any sign of our people.
- Attack FOB “Kamen” either fast and loud or slow and quiet to free our people from there.
- Evade any unnecessary enemy contact.
Movement Plan
- At PLT’s discretion
Fire Support
- USS Valor has cruise missiles and artillery available with multiple different types of ammunition.
Optional Tasks
- Rescue any foreign assets if found.
IV Administration / Logistics:
Resupplying
- Supply available at mission start and additional supplies can be brought in by reinforcements.
- There might be some remnants of our supplies on the ground prior to the invasion.
Reinforcements:
- Reinsertions will be on the hour every hour and be adhered to strictly, no deviation is allowed.
- Reinsertions are the same for all, including vehicles teams.
- Platoon Commander has a one time reinsertion wild card at his disposal, call this in through HQ.
- At predesignated times, reinforcements will be sent out of the base in the smallest transport vehicle which can hold reinforcements.
- Upon insertion to the AO, reinforcements should stick together until regrouping with the main force in the AO.
