Us. Playing. HOI4. Multiplayer. All DLCs experience provided by yours truly including the upcoming 8th March "Waking the Tiger" DLC.
First game will start on week 11 (12th March to 18 March), on the day that will have the most "Yay".
Game will finish either on faction major victory, upon reaching 1st January 1946 or at the end of the 5th session. Whichever comes first.
Each weekly session will last for two ingame years. At speed 3 (which we’re expecting to run on) this represents 2 hours 30 minutes of playtime a week, which should be long enough to enjoy it but short enough not to become cumbersome ([sub]like my dirtle[/sub]).
We will start at the earliest start possible, agree on rules such as AI and player non-aggression timers.
Hot seating will be possible but original owners of a country will have priority over others. Don’t show up? Get your country run by an AI or another player for two years.
Fill in the poll with the days and dates you’ll be willing to play, only the most popular option will be selected.
Poll will be closed March 8th
As a reminder, even if you don’t have any DLCs you’ll still be able to play, as only the host’s (yours truly) DLC ownership is taken into account.
Less than three days left on the poll. Wednesday and Saturdays are battling together, I’ll be bringing two non-CNTO players so we’re looking at a whopping 7-players HOI.
I’ve been thinking of the following rules:
[] USA must be AI-controlled
[] No boosting influence in player-controlled countries unless permission is given from owner
[] No fabricating against other player nations until 1st January 1938
[] No cheesy stuff (such as disbanding units that are surrounded)
Rules look good! I especially like the AI USA. Might I suggest No Historical AI focuses? I like the idea of a more unknown order of events, unless you think that might make the game too confusing.
The Japanese Civil war begun, opposing the newly formed democratic state of Japan against the Emperor. Italians volunteers have been spotted fighting alongside loyalists.
Taking advantage of the turmoil in Japan’s sphere of influence, Soviet forced have declared war against the now-independent Imperial Kwantung Territories, in a pure act of self-defense. Italians horse-mounted volunteers have been reported in the front, helping the chinese aggressor.
The Imperial Kawntung Territories have been conquered by the Soviet Union, alongside their Mengkukuo puppets, who have been puppeted back under communist rule.
The democratic state of Japan has won the war against the (now former) emperor.
