Question, is it more optimized than it was a year ago? It was far too laggy for me to play.
Optimisation came a long way, since a year ago.
After that you can still use custom .Cfg for more performance.
The new v2.1 update brought significant improvement in optimisation. And I’d like to back up Tiloup in saying that it’s worthwhile playing with user.cfg, it can significantly increase framerate and decrease loading times.
There are still some crashes but much rare than before, and of course some bugs.
I can’t wait until they improve the navball, I get lost so often because I have no clue where I’m pointing at. At the time of releasing arena commander navball was working perfectly, I don’t understand why they replaced it with this static one.
This was the concept from a while back.
I know they are still working on it, we might see it someday.
This looks much better than what we have currently, but this isn’t the navigational ball you see in your cockpit I was referring to.
Now about real-estate, conquest, resource claims, industry and money making… I think CNTO better plan ahead if we’re gonna be able to build a fully armed and operational death star. Don’t want to lose out to chinese gold farmers.
We got no way currently to know how the PU will work.
Best we could do is learn from the lore the best trading routes and then use the ARK map to determine the best path and what formation we should fly on those.
When it comes to the Death Star, Biggest we know will be able to caputure and hold in the 'verse is a Bengal Carrier,
A step below that would be a Javelin and then an Idris,
We will be able to train these Capture mechanics with the upcoming Capture the Idris game mode for Arena Commander.
Thus these monster will be a hell of a job to keep, in terms of ressources, credit cost and time ‘‘if’’ succesfully captured.

If we own the means of production and can tax anything that does buisness in our territory we won’t be strapped for upkeep. And with that we can probably blow up a planet if it looks at us funny.
Invite me to the CNTO star citizen org, please!
I can’t seem to find any sort of apply button on the org page! My id is "supremefist"
Supremefist sounds like a x-rated code name…

Got exam next week but I’m already working on updation the ‘‘Big-Post’’ with new stuff.
Would be nice to group up with few of you guys.
I need people to man this up
Free Fly week (Up until april 22nd), come and try out Star Citizen 2.3.1 for free !
For the next week, anyone with a Star Citizen account will have access to the Aurora LN, the F7C Hornet, and the Mustang Delta. This Free Fly event gives new players access to three unique parts of the Star Citizen experience:
*Star Citizen Alpha 2.3.1 – Also known as Crusader or the “mini-PU,” this is the nucleus of the world we’re building! Featuring multiple space stations and environments, scripted missions, places to explore and more, Alpha 2.3.1 is your first look at a much larger universe!
*Arena Commander – Arena Commander is a ‘game within a game’ that we’ve used to develop our flight mechanics and ship combat balance. Take on human opponents or an AI swarm in single seat fighter.
*Social Module – Interact with other players while you explore our first landing zone, ArcCorp! The Social Module is intended as a starting point for our world building.
All you got to do is create an account, download the thing and then reach the stars.
And while creating your account you can use my Referral Code ‘‘STAR-V5PC-4FJS’’.
But Tiloup, what is that Referal code ?
‘‘The Star Citizen Recruitment Program allows you to invite friends to join the Star Citizen Project. Anyone registering with your personal code will automatically get 5,000 UEC to spend in Voyager Direct, and whenever one of your recruits becomes an active player by purchasing a Game Package (with minimum value of $40 USD), you will get a Recruitment Point. These Points unlock rewards automatically.’’
Since I’ll only update the ‘‘Big post’’ when 2.4 will drop and that few things changed since 2.0, if you encounter any issues or have any questions, fell free to ask me, I will awnser it or help to the best of my capabilities .
The F7C-M, Super Hornet, It’s an Hornet, but Super, want a ride in ? Ask me o7
See you in the verse lads !
They keep having a lot of free weeks recently. I like it because I can also get to fly ships I don’t own, and get reminded every time why my Aurora is the best. I’ll definitely be hopping in the game this weekend.
Is there anything noteworthy in this update?
Nothing ‘‘Ground-breaking’’ in 2.3 and 2.3.1, mostly back-end stuff for the next two patch.
New Fps weapond (Sniper and Shotgun) Map change on Olistar mini Pu,optimisation and other than that, a bunch of little tweaks.
This patch also makes the Xi’An Khartu-al scout ship flight ready
And the Starfarer is hanger ready
Mark my word 2.4 (This month) and 2.5 are gonna be amazing.

How do you guys like the new flight controls?
I had to change the flight movement to old ones, but other controls feel much better now. Thought about trying to do some missions to get some aUEC but it’s pain in the ass to be faster than pubbies considering I’m flying Aurora MR.
Where can we buy ship parts with aUEC?
Quite some fancy pics! Why, o why isn’t this medieval?
Anyway, I’ll likely try it at some point.
I know that I often get excited about the smallest things with star citizen.
But this time, it made Sgt.bamboo salute.
