I also might be busy with travel prep in the evening before my 5 AM flight the next day.
I’ll unreserve my role and if I can join, I’d join as a reservist.

me to TL bravo please
Thanks @Sindh for organising!
I hope we can do more join ops in the future.
Quick morning feedback.
As said on Discord I had a nice blast as a medic. (Growing grey hair is standard at this point) Also it was nice to hop back into the saddle and finally play Arma.
Medical feedback wise.
I’ve seen people getting a LOT of bruises.
@Koffer had 25 before we got wiped out
@Mathusse had 26 at end-op.
And those were only bruises on the chest. I assume that it was due to the armor protection being adequate and stopping enemy bullets… if not, then at least you know.
Performace wise.
Holy shit that was a good one. My own FPS never dropped below 50ish. Either it was a good optimized OP or me upgrading to Ryzen 7 5700X3D…
Still, thank you for the mission @Sindh, I’ll be looking forward to playing more of these
(HANDS OFF MY KURWALAND YOU BLOODY BELARUSSIANS!)
Thank you for the feedback. I hope everyone enjoyed it!
Regarding the optimization I think your new system is very much helping.
I keep performance in mind at all time when Zeusing or designing a mission but Arma being Arma it is difficult to keep it consistent especially when I have to spawn a company to push you guys out of a position.
For Henrik’s feedback about bullets going through trenches. I think you’re right. It is the third time over the last year that I notice it. Some bullets of some guns (usually spec-ops/recon style units) go through trenches like they aren’t there.
It is worth investigating to avoid that in the future. I had the same issues with the PLA from 3CB factions.
Lastly the amount of bruises.
ACE did an update about two to three weeks moving away from the Passthrough system. It was a system design for bullets to leave small wounds behind the plate when shot in the torso but it had the vicious effect of leaving a large amount small cuts that were meaningless medically but required a lot of time to bandage making bruises irrelevant.
Now they have introduced the “Alternate Armor Penetration - Material penetration now affects armor penetration. AP rounds will be more effective against infantry armor.”
The downside to this is that now if the enemy isn’t firing AP rounds on an RHS vest it will basically never go through. This system is still being balanced on my side overtime.
Good mission Sindh! Don’t know how you managed to keep 40 people under a constant threat, must’ve been hectic for you as well.
Compared to the previous joint ops, there was a lot of coordination between squads directly which is a good sign of further cooperation between units and paves a good way forward for this kind of events.
One point for leadership: our squad was often assigned very broad sectors, and we had a hard time establishing a good perimeter. Also note that vantage points better be occupied by friendlies; we had some instances of fortifying positions just below hilltops. When defending make sure friendly units are not in defilade (eg the castle was a perfect spot from the get go).
Kudos to my FTLs and everyone in 2nd Squad, couldn’t have asked for a better experience as squad leader! Really looking forward to the next joint op.
