Points from HQ:
Yeah it was hard to see - that’s the point, complaining about that seems like complaining that tracers let the enemy see you too. The enemies found it equally as difficult to acquire targets - there was little AI bullshit this mission from Zeus’ persective.
Alpha and Bravo were way too far apart for a majority of the op, unfortunately this seems to have caused Alpha to have a boring time, as well as enemies sneaking between the 2 elements. Really encourage you guys to stick together more if the situation calls for it. I make sure there’s plenty of contact to go around in my missions and to hear one referred to as a walking simulator is dissapointing, some of that might be down to me as well
Actually very good gameplay on an individual level - very few deaths for the first 1.5hrs and you smashed the objective - really well done, you killed a LOT of bad guys and your focus on light discipline seemed effective to me. AI found it hard to shoot you!
Too much reliance on HQ - calling in to ask what explosions were or whether they’d completed their objectives or not were in my opinion not HQ’s job, I roleplay as a guy sitting in an office with 0 info so I’m always going to stonewall you there.
I now have PTSD, 10/10. In all seriousness loved the mission, even if Alpha strayed a bit further from the action we still got to kill quite a few bad guys. Always in favour of mission makers trying to do something different even if it doesnt work every time, else we’re just playing the same type of mission all the time but on different maps…
I really enjoyed the mission too, as a medic had a lot of job in the second part of the mission, even got some kills, i think
And its good to have different mission types, to get used to flares and flashlights. Change is always good, we have to be prepared for every situation
Keep elements closer together when foliage is this thick, since we had enemies between alpha and bravo multiple times. In this first video there is one such situation, and it leads to Bravo getting surrounded on three sides. It might have been just a single enemy on each flank, but the terrain makes it impossible to tell.

Don’t stack up more than a squad in an area that can get hit by 1 explosion. When I noticed the stack that was going on with Alpha and Bravo interlinked on this second video I immediately ran away, but when I got back close to try to warn everyone the RPG already hit. This might’ve been the worst firefight positioning I’ve ever seen from us. Aside from the explosion risk, the friendly fire risk was immense since without shacktak on your squad-mates, it was very hard to make out people.
When I am medicing I lose almost all my spatial awareness, and I trust that my squad is keeping my area secure and will tell me when I need to move. When you do tell me to move, do so forcefully (call me by name/role for example), or it might not get through to me while I am fixating on medicing (I’m trying to improve here, but I’ve noticed several ops where I am medicing people in not the safest location, or while we should be moving). We could’ve picked up Confox much earlier and done treatment in the truck, but I thought it was only Alpha that was moving out at the time.
