Coop: Strike at Karkand

Put feedback, stories, notes, complaints, videos, whatever, regarding the mission here.

Good fun, interesting without a Zeus. We drowned a fukn T-72, that was a first for me in Arma.

~500 AI was too much but you already know that

I really liked the setup and the op. I think Alpha could’ve been used more aggressively/proactive at the start - we had a pretty easy time in the southwestern town and then sat around for a while waiting for resupply when nobody really needed it (I think).

{ side _x == east } count allUnits = 555. Come on. :slight_smile:

I had 10 FPS, 15 FPS and 19 FPS during the happy hour.

Awesome mission. Much fun. Very hard.

Mission concept was interesting, reading the OPORD it seemed to me we were to have the upper hand. Little did I know the force ratio was 26:1 in favour of the enemy.

From Plt perspective all elements performed as good as they possibly could have. I realised just after the mission looking at CNTR that Alpha could have been used more aggressively. This has not been done for a couple of reasons: first, it seemed to me the guys were having enough contacts to deal with, second the AA would’ve probably wiped anything out of this world if it had the chance to (and the South East of first obj. was completely exposed to it), and lastly coordinating all the elements when they are pretty much always under fire made it hard to judge whether it was better to push further away or to peel back and provide assistance.

I dont’ generally care much about seeing the "MISSION SUCCESS" screen. But one thing I would like (and that has already been discussed with someone from MMT) is to have a bit of a breath from time to time, to give us more time to re-organize troops and adjust plans that don’t necessarily need to be "respond to fire". So yeah, too many enemies IMO. Also, as already mentioned in post debriefing, it would’ve been nicer to have enemy hold back from constantly trying and assault some positions we already captured.
