Rebels have used the Mt. Rooker and Hayden peak area as their stronghold.

Enemy Forces

Enemy consists of armed militia with some captured and weaponised museum vehicles. They are suspected to mostly move and patrol around the Mt.Rooker hills. We expect them to have fortified the area with improvised bunkers.

On orders of HQ reinsertion can be organised outside of the usual schedule limitations.

Upon insertion to the AO, reinforcements should stick together until regrouping with the main force in the AO

Area of Operations:

Hills area

Maybe an attack by boats would be our best bet of staying low up until we are up the mountain.
As the landing beach i would suggest the beach just east of the "BMW" marker

Maybe we could send a spotter team by boat across madman’s bay and set up near hill 317 to the west. They watch our movement across towards the western patrol, once we clear that we move up towards the suspected lookout, staying in defilade of the dug in squad. Clear the lookout and any further reinforcements, and engage the dug in squad from there if feasible. If not, leave a fire support element at the peak and continue clearing east down towards BMW then move north and flank the dug in squad.

Ok…

after watching the terrain and taking into account how very very steep it is i have the feeling we should approach this aggressively by car unless we want to take hours of very steep moving uphill while sitting pretty much in the open without any cover at all. If we can get around the most western patrol and move up quickly to the enemy we may have a chance to take the place before any of the other patrols have the time to react. once up at the objective we set perimeter, one team dispatch and moves up to Hayden Peak. Up there we should be able to set down a MMG Team while the other team can start moving up on the other hill. The northern hill could be approached from the west (from OBJ Iron first north then west).

It’s risky but damn i don’t want us to sneek up on one of the hills just to find out that 90% of the enemy is 1km away on the other hill!
