Hopefully this will be enough for people to start planning their travels and time.
I have just in case taken this week off from work, but I can always move it around/take more time off if someone wants to visit at another time themselves or if we have to move anything around.
Let me know if you have any questions. The airport you should be looking for is Tallinn Lennart Meri Airport or just Tallinn Airport (Code: EETN, TLL). You could also look into Riga Airport (Code: RIX) or Helsinki Airport (Code: HEL) and take a different transport from there.
Riga and Tallinn have lots of planes going between them, so if you cannot get a direct flight it will most likely pass through there, other options could be Helsinki, Copenhagen and some German Airports. However, you can also take a bus (LUX Express for example) between Riga and Tallinn, and you might also be able to take a Train to Tallinn from the border city of Valga/Valka.
If your cheapest/best flight is to Helsinki airport, then you can take a ferry across the water, if it’s cheaper than the flight.
Stockholm and Tallinn also have a cruise ship connection, but I imagine the flights would be cheaper.
Tallinn itself is quite walkable and has decent public transport available, especially for the most popular areas. When here, I would recommend looking into getting a Tallinn Card from a tourism information centre, or a Green Card from a kiosk/store. These allow you to use the public transit without having to use your credit/debit card each time, and the Tallinn Card also comes with lots of discounts for museums and such.
Food wise, we have a strong restaurant scene and two main delivery apps as well, plus some smaller ones for either specific regions or specific restaurants.
For Taxies, we also usually use one main app, but if you want to be thrifty, I’d recommend getting two or even there and then you can compare prices, sometimes during peak hours, some apps raise their prices at different times, which can allow you to save some money. The main app is Bolt (for taxis, scooters and food), Wolt is a good alternative for food, Tuul is a good scooter only alternative and Uber/Forus are good taxi alternatives. We also have Starship which allows you to get an autonomous robot to deliver your food, which is cool I guess.
Let me know here or DM me anywhere if you have any questions or if you need help with anything.
